Construction Day 22: Roof, HVAC and Plumbing

This week they put on our roof so our house is now considered enclosed. They completed our HVAC, plumbing and poured our basement. When we got there today we couldn't get into the house so I could only take a few pictures from the front window that was cracked open. They have heaters in the garage because they are going to pour that on Monday. Next week the framers are coming to frame the basement and they are installing our electric. Our PM said we may have our Pre-Drywall meeting on Friday if everything goes perfect this week! It may be the following Monday but we are cruising right along! We will know the week we move in once the drywall is up. At this moment we are slated to move in the third week of March.

  1. I love the way that house looks. It is amazing to see such craftsmanship. There are too many houses nowadays that try to be too fancy. I love how to the point this house is. I think it will look amazing once it is finished. I really like how precise you have been on the HVAC work as well.

  2. I am glad that your house is getting finished. I hope that it stays on track. Usually, with these construction companies, something gets thrown off and the move in date has to be pushed back a week or two. Again, I hope this does not happen to you and I hope you love your new home. It looks great so far.

  3. Looks like things are coming along just fine! Must be a good feeling to finally have a home to move into. My husband is working on our family home as we speak, so I know the feeling of having your dream take shape right in front of your eyes. Well done and I hope you'll be happy with your new home!
